I am writing you after one full year of blisfully perfect sleep on my PacDown mattress. I did submit my happy thoughts a few weeks after receiving my mattress, but now that it's gotten some serious use, and as if I have all the spare time in the world, I am writing you again with my long term report.

I want you and your potential customers to know that buying your bed was the best bedding purchase I have ever made. I was skeptical about such an inexpensive bed, that came in a box no less, but with all the positive reviews and the outstanding return guarantee, I purchased your bed for my new home.

I sleep through the night, every night. No kidding. I even wake up sometimes without having moved all night. Unless a neighbor is making noise, or I'm sick, I sleep through the night consistently. It is unbelievable. I try to explain to others how the bed is so soft, but so obviously inexplicably firm and supportive. It just feels SO good to lay on and to wake up on. I have never once woken with an ache of any sort. And, this bed has NOT settled or begun to show my body's impression in any way after this year. I know that is some buyers' concern.

last month I traveled to the islands and had the worst sleeping experience of my life on their spring mattress. I am truly spoiled with my BedInABox.

My wife and I have been sleeping on your bed for over 5 years. I guess that me sending you this comment after 5 years of sleeping on your bed says that I and my wife are still ecstatic about the comfort that we have loved during that that time. My wife has had 8 back surgeries, including 2 rods to support her spine. She insisted on having her doctor write a prescription for a hospital bed, but after reading your site, I sent away for a special you were having on your top of the line king size bed. It has been a miracle. She used to wake up in pain in the morning, but now she just wakes up! I think that being in your bed helps her feel better, especially after over-exerting herself during the day. We are in our mid 40's, so we aren't frail old folks, but no matter how old you are, a good nite's sleep is beneficial. To top off the whole thing, the prices of these beds are much less expensive than the mattresses that everyone else sells. I wish the whole country could know that a made in US product can be less expensive, perform better and create jobs for Americans. It can be done! Bring ingenuity, performance, and pride back to the great US of A! Better get to bed now.

I just have to say that your beds are incredible! first they arrived on time and in a rather small box. I followed the instructions and let the mattress breathe for a couple of hours, immediately after the recommended time my 19 year old plopped down and proceeded to sleep and drool for several hours....I though it was difficult to get him out of bed before your mattress arrived!

I ordered my PacDown Mattress on Wednesday of last week and received it on Friday.

I ordered the bed to replace a horrible piece of foam that came in our new travel trailer. The short queen size fit our RV perfectly.

At home, I have had a Tempur-Pedic mattress for four years and was satisfied with it. However, I did not want to spend as much money for a mattress for the RV. Although, I did want to get a good mattress since I have four herniated discs and suffer from severe back pain. After researching a number of different brands of foam mattresses online, I decided to purchase the PacDown Bed for the RV, even though we were on the road. Mainly because sleeping on the original equipment mattress left me in such pain that I was unable to enjoy our trip.

After receiving the PacDown Mattress, we promptly installed it and allowed it to expand. I have to admit that after letting the mattress expand, I was a little skeptical about whether it would serve me well with my bad back because it seemed so soft to the touch. That first evening, when I first laid down, the mattress initially felt very soft and didn't feel like it was going to satisfy me. But, within a minute or so, the mattress reacted to my body heat and was absolutely the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. I woke up the next morning without the normal pain that I would have had even on my Tempur-Pedic.

Normally, I would reach for my pain pills on my night stand prior to getting out of bed. I do not have to do this since I received my PacDown mattress.

I can tell you that I will be ordering a PacDown Mattress for my home as soon as we return. The PacDown mattress is so much more comfortable than the Tempur-Pedic and since the PacDown mattress is lighter than the Tempur-Pedic, changing the sheets and bed linens is not nearly the chore that it is with the Tempur-Pedic.

In my opinion, anyone considering the purchase of a Tempur-Pedic Mattress should first try the PacDown Mattress. Not only is the PacDown Mattress more economical, it is just a better mattress. If you have severe back pain like I have, I think you will be delightfully surprised at how the PacDown Mattress will help your back. It does not seem to push back on your body like the Tempur-Pedic, but it offers just the perfect amount of support to keep a bad back from hurting. I just don't think anyone could go wrong with the PacDown Mattress. If it helps my bad back as much as it does, imagine what it will be like if you don't have a bad back.

This is an amazing Bed! When I decided to purchase a Memory Foam Bed, I was overwhelmed and confused by the amount of information and choices. I was fearful of cautionary tales of toxic fumes and poor quality foams being imported from China. Hi guys, I got the bed (PacDown Queen) and I love it. I am disappointed with the additional shipping charges that were added on later, BUT, since I do live in Hawaii and virtually EVERYTHING is at the mercy of shipping (after all we are the most distant land mass on earth), I do understand and I appreciate that you picked up some of that tab (I think you covered about $40 or so). I appreciate the quality of everything that you put together for this bed set; from the mattress itself, to the cover, the bed protector cover, right up to the down filled comforter. Your method of packaging certainly is novel and functional. Can I make a suggestion? Start selling sheets and bedding materials that would complement the mattresses, i.e., 100% cotton sheet sets including fitted, flat, pillow case, and dust ruffles. Perhaps there is a manufacturer that you could work with that could design and produce a set that fits the unique 'squared' corners of your beds. ALSO, I have 2 dogs and a cat, and guess where they land every night? You got it, right on my bed, which in itself is not unusual. What IS unusual is the way they sleep on the bed. They find a place and DON'T move an inch after they fall asleep. My point? Why don't you make pet style beds in small (18"x24"), medium (24"x36"), and large (36"x42") sizes? You could produce easily removed covers for easy cleaning that would be a big hit, for me anyway. Thanks for the bed. You have definitely lived up to your statements on your web site and without a doubt you should do VERY well as you continue to grow. If there was any possibility you were entertaining developing a bigger presence in Hawaii, I would be interested in exploring that possibility with you. Thanks again !!!

We received our king sized pacdown bed last week and have never been happier. It is heaven every night. I was a little skeptical about ordering the mattress online but am glad I went through with the transaction. I do not feel my partner get up in the morning.....I get to sleep in. At night, I used to watch tv for a few hours until I finally went to sleep.

Now, I am asleep within 15-20 minutes. It is just so comfortable I wake up in the morning wondering what in the heck happened. It has been several years since I have slept through the night. I just wanted to add to the testimonials of very satisfied customers. We had seen Tempurpedic mattresses in a local store and very much wanted to get one. I couldn't bring myself to pay the price they wanted for a mattress though. Our boys were getting bigger and just had thin, flimsy, cheap mattresses much in need of replacement.

I just wanted to let you know that since I have received your bed my life has changed more than I could of imagined. I have adrenal failure and hashimotos thyroid disease and both of these cause severe joint pain. Before I got this bed I was sleeping on an old spring mattress and when I would wake up it would take over an hour to work out my joint pain, it was awful. My hip was the worst since I laid on that side all the time and a spring was poking out of the bed. Because of the adrenal failure it took 5 years to diagnose and I was bedridden. Since I have received this bed its amazing to say that I can get right out of bed when I get up. I spend most of my days in bed because of my illness and one thing I can say for sure this bed is amazing. Just wanted to touch base with you to let you know that we received both our bed and down cover.

We originally put it on our box springs and were not impressed at all with the comfort. It was way to soft. Now we have it on a solid base and I can't say enough good words about the comfort. I go to sleep quicker and don't wake up in the morning and have to spend an hour or more getting the kinks out.

We ordered Bed in a Box online as we wanted a Memory Foam mattress and could not see paying the prices we found locally. We have had it about 10 days now and are only sorry we didn't order it sooner. The mattress was delivered by UPS and we were able to track it. It came in the three days the order taker had told us. It provides sturdy comfort, one of us turning over does not disturb the other. The mattress weighs 80 lbs. (ours is a full size, larger or smaller mattresses would have different weights). These mattresses are made for platform beds and do no need a box spring under it. We highly recommend this mattress. My husband has a spastic back and is in more comfort than he has been in years. We also wake up much more energized.

I purchased a memory foam mattress fron bedinabox after looking all over the web for one. They had the cheapest price and free shipping. I had to replace the old mattress which was a select comfort air mattress because I kept getting back aches all the time and restless sleep. I have had a Spring Air mattress for 4 yrs and don't know why I lived with it for so long. Except of course, the dang thing was really expensive and I wanted my money's worth! After the second night on the new mattress, I no longer had hip and lower back pain in the morning. I sleep on my side and the Spring Air was killing me. After sleeping in a recliner for over 2 months due to chronic athritis in my back, I had slept on a memory foam mattress at a friend's place and loved it, so I knew I needed to purchase one. Honestly B-I-B folks, you really let your customers know that if you have certain health conditions such as my arthritis, THIS MATTRESS CAN BE PAID FOR WITH FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT AND HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNTS! I did. I paid and was reimbursed after providing a doctor's prescription. I was in utter shock at the cost of the mattresses in the local retailer and thought I could not afford one. I was never more wrong! I got on line and found Bed in a Box and honestly, I was very nervous about buying a mattress without actually laying on it. But I don't know if I was more shocked after seeing the mattress in the box when it arrived. I thought, "this can't be good". HOW WRONG I WAS!!! This was by far the best money I have ever spent. The cheapest foam mattress I found in the local retailers was $1,800. My king size 13" Pac Bed is my new best friend. I read the testimonials and even called the factory before I placed my order to feel better about such a large purchase. The lady (yes, I spoke with a person, not a machine)whom I spoke with was very nice, willing to help and knew everything about the product without shuffling me around. I have been waiting to write because I couldn't believe this bed! We slept on a water bed for more than 30 years and I could not believe that this could be better. I was hoping for "almost as good", I got BETTER. It is wonderful and I have already told as many people as will listen to me. PacBamboo Plus 11" Memory Foam Mattress - King on an Ergomotion Adjustable Bed Frame

My wife and I were having trouble sleeping on our queen split memory foam mattress. It was too hot, even in winter, and a split queen was just too small. So we went out looking for a king sized adjustable bed. Certainly the comfort of the memory foam was a factor for us, but we did not want to get another unit that was so hot. Our choices ended up between a Tempur-Pedic and a Select Comfort Air mattress, both of which were very expensive. The Tempur-Pedic was going to be too hot again, and we were not comfortable with the air pump on the Select Comfort that was likely to go off any time of the night. In desperation we went looking on the web, and after quite a bit of trouble, we found Bedinabox.com.

It was difficult to believe the price, far less than half that of the competition. And the foam density was lower, so we were concerned about the possible stiffness of the mattress, but the cover was hypoallergenic made from a renewable resource, so what the hey, I got out my trusty credit card and ordered the split king and an adjustable platform. You never know...

A short time later two boxes arrived. They were fairly small, and we assumed they were parts for the adjustable bed. Then the adjustable bed arrived. It took two of us to get the unit into the bedroom, but it was absolutely a snap to set up and easier to work with than the European frame we had before. We discovered that the smaller boxes were actually the mattresses, vacuum packed, and when the plastic bag was cut open, each mattress fluffed up to its full size. Wow! That was cool. The overall weight was much less, so the entire bed is easier to move around than our old memory foam queen, and yet the comfort was even better. The first night's sleep was the best we had had in years! It wasn't hot, and the adjustable base allowed me personally to tilt the mattress a little bit to prevent acid reflus. I will never have another bed without it being adjustable, as this allows me to avoid medications when I sleep. The savings in drugs alone is one incredible benefit.

The adjustable base has more features than we ever expected, up to and including a vibrate mode that can be set to operated for different amounts of time. This, too, is really cool. Nowadays we go to bed, my wife writes in her diary, and I sit up and read for a while. Absolutely fabulous. After about one month, we had one of the control mechanisms go bad due to a factory defect. But a replacement was sent out the same day I called about the problem, and the replacement unit simply snapped into place. It is obvious a lot of thought went into the design of the adjustable base.

We have now been enjoying our bed for eleven months, and have come to the conclusion that will never buy a bed from anywhere else. Bedinabox Rocks!!!

I have never slept so well as I now can on my new Original PacBed! I have severe osteoarthritis, have had both hips and both knees replaced and was never able to sleep more than an hour without waking from aches and all over pain. Now, thanks to PacBed (which was so easy to unfold and lay on top of the cot frame I had ready for it), I am sleeping for five and six hours at a time in total comfort. My wife and I purchased a queen size bedinabox for our travel trailer. Without a doubt, the best mattress we have ever owned. We have a king Select Comfort (extremely expensive) for our home - we are replacing it with a bedinabox king. We can honestly say that we have never slept in a bed that is as comfortable as our bedinabox.

My fiance and I recently purchased a queen size bedinabox after a recommendation from my mother. I previously owned a $700 pillow top but nothing compares to the comfort of our new bedinabox. We loved it so much that my parents in law took our advice and purchased one for themselves. I can say that everyone is 100% satisfied with this mattress. Any one looking to buy a bed without shelling out tons of money should look no further.

We received a Bed in a Box mattress for Christmas (9" PacDown) and had the best night's sleep we'd had in a very long time. It is firm enough to give adequate support, but yet flexible for comfort. We used to get up 4 or 5 times during the night, but now only once or twice. That alone makes us wake up much more rested. The best part is that when one of us moves, the other side remains still. I would recommend this mattress to everyone. I wish we would have gotten one years ago.
