From the first night after getting our custom 9 inch PacBed Original, we slept in pure comfort. The first thing we noticed was, if one of us would arise from the bed, we did not disturb the other.

As long as the mattress will stand up over time we will continue to be happy. It arrived when you said it would. It fit perfectly to our RV custom size bed. We allowed our neighbors to lie on it with good response.

My wife and I purchased our BedinaBox in June 2007. Prior to that, we spent several months researching various types of mattresses. My wife routinely complained about her hips, neck and back discomfort from our existing mattress. We tried just about all of the conventional mattresses before we began to look at unconventional mattresses such as Select Comfort and Tempur-pedic. I travel quite a bit for work so we were able to spend the night in hotels that offered both the Tempur-pedic and Select Comfort Mattresses. Finally, we agreed that when it was time to purchase, we would most likely get the Tempur-pedic Deluxe. However, that mattress was priced at $2300, which is way more than we wanted to spend on a mattress. Then, while doing additional mattress research, I stumbled upon Bedinabox.com. I looked at their products online, but knew there was no substitute for physically lying on the mattress. So, my wife and I got into the car and drove about 2 hours to their warehouse, where they gladly gave us an opportunity to try out the bed. We were instantly sold. I hadn't planned to actually purchase the mattress that day but couldn't wait to sleep on it. So, I made a trip to the closest ATM and for a little more than $500 we stuck our Queen size BedinaBox (with goose down cover) in the trunk of our small car and headed home! We set it up in our bedroom that night and have enjoyed every night on our B-in-a-B! A few months later, we purchased an adjustable base frame. Consequently, my wife slept very well during her entire pregnancy and getting comfortable was never an issue. She also loved the adjustable frame for her recovery and midnight nursing! I was very skeptical purchacing the Bed in a Box and was fully ready to return it however, this has turned out to be the best purchace I have made this year. It was very easy to move into the room that we wanted it in and was effortless to set up. It did have a chemical smell when we first opened it but after about a week the mattress aired out and no smell at all. We have owned this mattress for about 9 months now and LOVE it! The price was amazing and the comfort is outstanding. We plan on getting one for each of our kids when they get a bit older. Bottom line is give these guys a chance and you'll be glad you did.

It was time for a new mattress and we had decided on a memory foam mattress after testing mattresses in the store. After much internet research, I decided to try the Bed in a Box mattress; their customer testimonials and Better Business Bureau endorsement gave me the comfort level I needed to make a purchase of this kind via the internet. Wow! I am so glad this was our decision. My achey back is no more. The comfortable support this mattress provides is everything I had hoped for and more! My only tip would be for the larger sizes of mattresses, have two people available to move the mattress.

My husband and I had a mattress we adored; when it wore out we looked to replace it with the same mattress but could not locate one which was the best thing that could have happened. i just have to write you an awesome review. i purchased the pacbed original a few months ago. the easiest transaction ever, super quick processing and delivery. i even got the bed upstairs myself, thanks to your unique packaging! your bed is the most comfortable bed in my house. 2 years ago i paid $2000.00 for a latex bed and the pacbed surpasses its comfort!!! i wish i knew then! i always liked the idea of memory foam but when tried another brand i found it too hard. i was a little nervous about not being able to try the bed before i bought it but i knew worse came to worse you had a good return policy. to my great surprise i am amazed by the bed and the price! no smell! all set up in minutes! i cant wait til i have room for another one!!!

We love love love our Bedinabox Memory Foam Mattress. It is truly the most comfortable mattress on which we've ever slept. We say to each other all the time how our backs feel so much better, and that we have less aches and pains in general. Must be the way the memory foam really conforms to your body. Our Memory foam mattress is always the right temperature when you get in at night too! Bedinabox is a great company that honestly represents their mattress product, comfort and customer service. We can't say enough about what a joy it's been sleeping on the Bedinabox Memory Foam Mattress.

After looking online for days, reading reviews, and comparing prices, I choose the Queen size Bedinabox memory foam mattress and bed set. The mattress and bed exceeded my expectations in every way. Setup was a breeze. Shipping was very fast. I was actually amazed at how fast it got here. I had the entire bed setup in minutes, and have been sleeping good on it ever since. You cannot beat the value on this bed, nor the comfort. One thing I have noticed that is nice is when it's very cold or warm in the room the bed does not make you uncomfortable. The power went out last night in 26 degree weather and the temperature in the house got down to 60 degrees, yet I was completely comfortable in my bed during the two hour outage.

I would recommend this bed to anyone. Don't pay more on the other brands, you are just paying for their advertising.

I just wanted to let you know that the PacBamboo-Plus twin bed that I ordered for my mother is wonderful. I ordered it for her to have when she moved in with us in Aug. 2007. We were the first customers to have the newly produced bamboo cover for the bed. The bed is wonderful, as well as the cover. My mother sleeps very well on her bed. She had open-heart surgery in July 2007, so her comfort was very important to us.

When she moved in and started sleeping on her new bed, she said that she hasn't slept as soundly as she does on her bed. Thank you for informing me about the Bamboo cover. Your staff was great to work with, we appreciate your service. We are making plans to purchase the same bed for our daughter.

If you've owned an RV you know what type of mattress they come with. When Cindy and I pruchased our trailer in 2002 it came with a queen bed and at first the mattress seemed sleepable. After our Oregon coast trip last year Cindy started to complain about not being able to get a full nights rest and having some back aches. Can you imagine waking up on the Oregon coast and not enjoying your favorite cup of coffee and the scenery because of a bad nights sleep.

It wasn't but a couple of months later on a return trip from Arroyo Grande we stopped at a mattress shop to check out their foam mattresses. What a different in comfort, but the price tag was a little to much, ok way to much. A foam mattress is what we wanted so the search was on.

Cindy and I googled foam mattresses and found a site called Bedinabox. Here we found exactly what we were looking for and after reading several reviews we were convinced. So last April we orderd our RV Queen PacDown 9" with the Goose Down cover. The online ordering was a breeze all the steps were so easy and with a click of a button our mattress was on the way. Orderd on a Tuesday and on Friday it showed up at our front door, a bed in a box just like they promised.

Here comes the fun part I carried the box into the trailer and sat it where a mattress once was. We opened the box and slid the new mattress into place. The next step was to remove the PacDown from its protective cover. Once the mattress was exposed to the air things started to happen. Like a new born taking it's firtst breath of air it began to grow and grow untill it covered the entire sleeping area. This was really cool to watch. Give your PacDown a good part of the day to fully come to life before enjoying the comfort you've been missing all these years. A foam mattress is nothing like a spring type mattress I can't explain it you'll have to try it for yourself.

Since the purchace of our new PacDown we've made several trips to Arroyo Grande and Santa Cruz along with our annual trip up the Oregon coast line and we can't say enough about our Bedinabox PacDown RV Queen it's a dream come true. just a note to let you know how much we are enjoying our new mattress(11 inch). it came quickly and was easy to put on our waterbed frame. don't ask how tough it was to move the old waterbed mattress(even drained it weighed a ton!) our own nice mattress topper, some new high thread count sheets, and we are enjoying the best sleep of our lives. we never know if "reviews" are from real people or not, but this one is! price, comfort and fast service - hard to beat. for reference, we had NO odor sometimes mentioned in foam mattress reviews,and while it was not light it was easy for two people to place it properly.thanks for a great , alternative, solution to those ridiculously overpriced other mattresses. again,thank you.

As a lifelong savvy New Yorker, I am continually wary of ordering things online. I danced a weeklong dance with the folks at Bedinabox, and received such on the money attention and service from their Vice President (who personally guarenteed my happiness and said he'd take the bed back, if necessary) that I went for it.

First off, the price was so right (I bought the 9" King Memory Foam bed and frame) that I couldn't believe that the theraputic comfort they claimed could be true. Yet I couldn't wait for the bed to arrive! And it did, 3 days later, like clockwork. And sleep has never been the same! I cannot believe that my sleep could be so remarkably changed for the better, at such a bargain price!

Everyone loves this bed - my girlfriend, my cats and dogs! I have friends that always want to lay on it when they stop by! And I miss it terribly when I travel!

When I was in the middle of moving and finding a new place, the most inconvenient part was actually finding a good mattress and getting it to my apartment at an hour that I could be there to receive it. With bedinabox.com, I didn't have to pay a cent for shipping and I could have it sent to my office in an easily transportable box so I could throw it on a cart and bring it home with me, unlike any other mattress. When I got it home, it was extremely well packaged and easy to set up (ie. put the cover on that I'd purchased as well). This mattress has by far been the most comfortable thing I've ever slept on. My friends and family are all amazed by it when I have them try it out and I couldn't imagine sleeping on a regular coil spring mattress ever again. I recommend it to all of my friends and tell everyone I can about it. On top of the great delivery and extreme comfort of the mattress in the first place, the customer sevice has also been incredible, with sales reps emailing me to follow up on the order and check that everything was up to par. We found Bedinabox via an Internet search, and after reading their material and the reviews we decided it was worth the effort. We also ordered the goose down mattress cover to maximize comfort. Shipping was free, and quick. The mattress replaced a worn futon mattress that had grown uncomfortable after many years, and comfortable sleep was hard to come by. The boxed mattress was a bit too much for senior citizens to handle (the box could USE some handles) but younger neighbors helped us set it up. The mattress is wonderfully comfortable and we could not be more pleased. Our 12 year-old grandson tried it out this past, very hot, July and his review was COOL, Gramma. I showed him that the goose down mattress cover was cool even in July, and he tried it and we got another COOL, Gramma. So there's two testimonials for your wonderful product.

I bought the PacDown Plus foam mattress with down cover from Bed in a Box a few months ago, and I have been happy as a puppy romping in a field of daisies ever since. Unlike other foam mattresses, including the "space age" foam mattresses that cost way more than this one, I have both cushy comfort and gently firm support each night as I drift off to dream land. According to the website, the mattress I bought has 3" of memory foam and 8" of High Resiliency base foam.Thing is, I wasn't sure how such a mattress could fit into a relatively small duffel. Wow! Was I surprised. When I began to cut away the plastic that covered the rolled up mattress, it immediately inflated to the full 11" thickness and was ready to lie down upon. It was love at first snooze!

Hi, I just wanted to let you guys know that we have been sleeping on our new California King for about three or four weeks now and it is the greatest mattress we have ever had. We were thinking about getting one from Costco but they only had the regular King in the store and were not able to get the California King although it was in their warehouse and shown on the website.

I decided to surf the web and found your site and was surprised at the price, which was $100 less than Costco and you didn't charge for shipping. Great.

We both really are enjoying the comfort of your product and are certainly glad we made the decision to go with yours. When the UPS guy got here with it he said he had been told by a friend that you should open it outside and then take it into the house. I didn't think that was a good idea and opened it in the house. We had no problems getting it in position on the bed and it only took about 15 or 20 minutes total.

Thanks for a great product and we are enjoying not waking up in the morning with sore hips and backs. I used to wake up early and get up just so I could get more comfortable in my chair but now I actually sleep in once in a while.

My husband has been dealing with back pain and chiropractor's visits for a while and decided that we would try a new mattress. My father sold mattresses for a living, so I've sampled a lot of types of mattresses. But I've always had a bed that needs a foam mattres, and the memory foam mattresses I've seen are way too expensive for me. Also, I'd heard they are warm. A friend of mine told me how they found this place on line, Bedinabox and bought the bed and were really happy. They laughed at the tiny box it came and and were amzed at it expanded...AAAAhhh comfort at last.

I've had this bed for a year now, and it's just the same as when I got it. Very comfortable, and when my parents come to visit my father has to admit he likes it!!! With the cotton down mattress cover the bed is not too hot, and it is just as comfortable as any memory foam waterbed or pillow top I've ever slept on. I should know, I've tried tons of mattresses. The best indicator is that my cats love it too. I come home and find them on the bed, stretched out and lolling in content. Anyone who has cats knows that they always find the most comfortable place in the house! Go for it you won't be disappointed.

I absolutely love my mattress from bedinabox. My fiance and I have been using it for a month now and have never had a better nights rest. You lay down, and just sink right in. We have a new winter home in Arizona that came with an irregular king size bed frame. We searched retail stores and the internet for a mattress without success until we found BedInABox online and their willingness to make custom size mattresses. We were a bit nervous about placing an order having not had experience with a memory foam mattress, but decided after talking to them that it was certainly worth a try given the great warranty they offer. We are in our 60's and have experienced a wide variety of mattresses in our lifetimes. I have to say that I was skeptical even when I made my order for a memory foam mattress on line. The concept that a bed arrives in my home in a box!? When it arrived I immediately unpacked it and pulled off my old back-killer mattress. The whole family pitched in to help unpack the delivery because they all wanted to see exactly what Dad had ordered. We all kinda laughed and waited to see. The bed unrolled and immediately came to life. We were all shocked. We took turns laying on the bed and everyone loved the comfort of this big bed that came out of the box.

It has been over 9 months now and we can't be any happier with our purchase. This bed has been the reason we get a good night's sleep. Between my back pains and my wife's restless legs at night the old bed would shake from our constant movement. I don't know if my wife has RLS anymore. I think she does, but I couldn't tell you... I was asleep.

I rarely write in about products, but I felt that I had to this time. I had been looking for a new mattress for several months, but the Select Comfort and Tempur Pedic mattresses were just too expensive. I began looking at other options, but I was skeptical because there were just too many choose from. I decided I wanted a memory foam mattress but my head spun from all that was out there. I wanted to know what made a good mattress...who made good foam, what makes some foams better than others etc. I finally found your site and you seemed to answer all of my questions. Everything was so straight forward. After waiting two days I finally placed an order. I received my new mattress and I've had it for one week. I am so pleased with it I can't wait until I get to go to bed now. I use to move all the time on my old mattress, but now I find myself moving less and less during the night. It is 'just right' like you say...soft enough and firm enough. I do feel like I'm floating on a cloud. The only thing I'm waiting for is the test of time and will it last. Steve: I am writing to tell you how much my wife and I have benefited from our new foam mattress that we purchased from your company. Not only is the mattress larger than the one we had before, it is extremely comfortable. Just laying under the covers on this bed is a new experience. As soon as I am settled in bed, I begin to relax. The support I feel from my head to my feet is very firm, yet not stiff. There are no longer the pressure points I remember from my old spring mattress. We also purchased the bamboo cover, which adds an extra layer of smoothness and comfort to the entire experience.

I must say I was a little hesitant when I looked at the prices. But after thinking how much a good night sleep is worth, I decided to go all the way and buy the best mattress I could, the 13" model, plus the bamboo cover.

I am very glad I did. My wife and I now have more than enough room without having elbow fights during the night. Now, my wife is usually asleep in minutes, and I am asleep soon after. Hello. I want to submit a testimonial because we have so enjoyed our Bed in a Box. My wife and I were very hesitant to make the purchase 6 months ago because I have always liked harder beds and my wife likes pillowtop soft beds. We looked at sleep number beds because we thought that was the only way we could both be happy. We couldn't believe the price though. When I finally had to start sleeping on the floor because my back was hurting from sleeping on our broken down pillowtop mattress that offering me no support I decided it was time to take action. I read all the reviews on your website and others and decided that with the price of your mattresses I was definitely willing to take a chance and give it a try. Now six months later we are so happy. We got the queen sized PacBamboo Plus. Although as some reviewers have said, it is a little warmer than a traditional mattress, that really hasn't been much of a problem. My dad, a retired manufacturing engineer, researched mattresses over the internet and decided on a Queen Size Pac bed original from Bedinabox. "Meticulous" best describes his research method. After comparing other manufacturers with Bedinabox, Dad was convinced that the quality and comfort of his new mattress was assured.

My husband and I helped mom and dad remove the old mattress and bedding and set up the BedinaBox mattress, mattress cover and down cover. We were impressed! In fact, we ordered our Full Size Memory Foam PacBed 11" a few weeks later, along with the down mattress cover.

We love it! My hip used to wake me up at night, I attributed it to getting older, but it stopped soon after we started sleeping on the new mattress. If my husband gets up during the night it doesn't wake me up either. So that's my testimonial - better sleep, affordable price, quality construction, and no funny smell. I was afraid to change from coils to memory foam. In hindsight, that makes about as much sense as being afraid to change from dial up to high speed. Dumb!

We bought the Bed-In-A-Box memory foam mattress to replace the one that came with our new motorhome. We have a memory foam mattress in our bedroom at home but there is no comparison in quality. Clearly, not all memory foam is created equal. We have bought several memory foam pillows from different manufacturers and were surprised at the varying comfort levels, the difference can be jarring.

When we bought the motorhome, I was concerned that my husband and I would not be able to sleep together comfortably in a queen size bed after many years of sleeping on a king. Absolutely no issue with the new mattress. We wake up in the same position in which we fell asleep. I have to have a new Bed-in-a-Box memory foam for the house!!!

I have read complaints about: A) hotter than a usual mattress---neither of us has noticed this and we are extremely hot natured. B) chemical odor---we left the mattress open and uncovered for several days, as the directions instructed. We also left the fan blowing on it, flipped it once. THERE IS NO ODOR. If the directions are read, there will be no issues.

I HAVE NOTHING BUT RAVE REVIEWS FOR THIS PRODUCT. IT HAS HELPED MY MARRIAGE!!----by keeping us in the same bed when I had begun to think separate beds were going to be the only solution to my husband's tossing and turning. If he flips over now, I never know it.

About a year ago, my wife and I were looking to replace our old worn-out innerspring mattress on a budget. We'd been sleeping on a 2.5" memory foam topper for quite some time, but the mattress underneath was just beginning to sag too much. I did a ton of research online, and I couldn't find anything to beat BedInABox.com's deal on their PacBed Original so we ordered one. Nobody else could beat the price for a memory foam mattress, and I figured if it was terrible, I could always use the topper we already had to make it more comfortable.

When our mattress arrived my first pleasant surprise came when I first opened it. I laid it out on the hide-a-bed expecting to wait hours and hours for the mattress to fluff and come to full size but it just puffed right up in just a very few minutes. We've been sleeping on it for about a year now and I haven't noticed any changes in it whatsoever. The mattress is still flat, comfy and pleasantly lightweight. We never put on the foam mattress topper and haven't regretted it once. This mattress is comfortable, and well made.

Moving the mattress proved to be a little bit of a challenge. Though the weight is lower than most mattresses, it doesn't have the rigidity of an innerspring, so the initial lift wasn't easy.

Overall we've been very pleased and we've recommended BedInABox to many friends! We bought our PacBed for the price, and we've happily stuck with it for the comfort!

I am a 60 yr. old nurse who has had 4 back surgeries ,have lived with alot of aches and pains for 30 yrs, am on my feet all day, need my rest ,and could never get a good nights sleep. Cloud nine is what we call our new bed in a box mattress. We had an old spring mattress and were looking for a memory foam to replace it but could not afford all the fancy name brands so just by great luck I found the bed in a box website and was elated. I looked it over carefully and then gave them a call to check them out. I found that they were very helpful and positive with no hard sell just a few recommendations and I felt very positive with the information that I received and made an order right then an there. In less than a week we received our new mattress and it was so easy to get into the house and on the bed frame. When it opened up and expanded the memory foam side was on top so all I had to do was add sheets and it was ready to sleep on. The first night we knew that we had a winner. We woke up with no sore spots unlike the old spring mattress. Each night now we look forward to going to bed knowing that we will get a great night's rest and be ready for a new day without having to get rid of back and leg pain. Did I mention we are both seniors nearing our 70,s so as great as it is for us I have recommended it many times and am getting ready to buy another one for a guest bed. As a family that loves dogs, Carmel, our six year old, has taken over the bed during the day and just loves the comfort. She hardly ever got on the old spring mattress. In finishing this review I have no bad to report, all is good.

We can't say enough, how much we love this mattress! My husband has 4 herniated disc, a fractured vertebra and spinal degeneration. Before the new mattress, he awoke every morning stiff and sore, until he could spend a couple of hours moving and working the pain out some. We bought the bedinabox mattress with hopes that it would help with this. We were NOT disappointed! He's no longer stiff or hurting in the mornings. Now, the only time he hurts is if he has done something he shouldn't have. We're so glad we took a chance on this product! I think anyone that has back problems would be doing themselves a huge favor in trying one, besides what can it hurt? You have a great trial period if someone doesn't like it!

We bought the bamboo plus. We had tried some memory foam mattresses at the store and found them to be way to firm to enjoy, but of course my husband needed something firm for his back, but he still wanted comfort. When we read the information on the bamboo plus we were sold. It has the firmness of the memory foam mattresses, but it's pillow top lets you have the plushness that lets you rest comfortably against the firm memory foam. The combination is like sleeping on a cloud. The one draw back, is having to constantly run the kids off of it. They are always trying to take over the bed because it feels so good!

It did take a little time to get use to. Any mattress change can do that but when he woke up that first morning and said wow, I'm not stiff we knew we had made the right choice.

I drove everyone crazy trying to decide which mattress I should buy!I had a wonderful innerspring mattress that lasted twenty-two years. So I wanted the same quality and comfort when it came time to replace it. Unfortunately, the current price of a mattress of the same quality was $3,000.00, which was out of my price range. Since I have problems with my lower back, I decided to look at Memory Foam mattresses. I have never written a review of anything before, but this is such a wonderful productthat I think anyone who is looking for a fabulous bed needs to know about bedinabox.com. Our pillowtop mattress was 10 years old and we had two memory foam mattress toppers on our bed that we had purchased from Costco. Ok, So let me start by saying that I am a complete skeptic! I never believe anything that sounds too good to be true. Your foam mattress deal was something I couldn't believe. We have a european bed and needed a special size mattress. I had been looking for one for months and had checked out all of the major memory foam companies. I kept getting quotes that varied from $2,500 to 3,000+. Then I came across your website and I thought, "No way, this can't be real...look at these prices!" I called right away and asked a load of questions. Your customer service rep. Tracy(sp?) was so great in answering all of them. She was so helpful in giving me the information I needed. She even called me back with extra information and answers. I got a quote that was unbelievable and even had to take a week to decided if this was too good to be true. I did more research and could find nothing negative about this company. We finally decided to make the order for our special sized bed. The memory foam mattress came in a week, along with the waterproof pad and down mattress pad. I was blown away with the fast delivery. Every other company said a special order would take 6-10 weeks. We put it on our foundation and WOW! This mattress is amazing! It feels so good and is soft and supportive at the same time...the ultimate comfort! Who would buy a mattress set over the internet? At first we refused to even consider the idea, but we knew we had to do something. My husband was logging in more sleep time in the massage chair than on our 10-year-old mattress. His back was hurting him constantly. He was miserable at night and cranky (from lack of sleep) during the day.

Naturally, we started driving around searching for a mattress. We kicked off our shoes and climbed on top of mattresses all over north Alabama. We went to mattress specialty shops, furniture stores, and even a couple of outlet stores, only to find that the cost of a new mattress was going to hurt our bank account more than the springs currently on our bed were hurting our backs. After sleeping on the bed for the first night I was hooked! The bed gives in just the right places and supports the spine with a comfortable firm feel. It also insulates your body very well. There is no way that I will ever switch to any other mattress out there. Another great thing is that the beds last for upwards of ten years! So there are no annoying replacement fees every 3 years or so like an ordinary mattress.

All of these tings make a great product and company! They also offer many other products (including other mattresses) that are equally well priced to fit into anyones budget or lifestyle.

My boyfriend and I purchased the 9" PacBed Original about a year ago. We were in the market for a new mattress because the one we had, a full, was too small. It was an older, regular innerspring mattress and if it didn't already feel small enough, once you got near the edge, it felt like you were going to fall off. It felt like this because the support of the springs didn't extend to the edges. My boyfriend didn't know much about memory foam technology, but once he lay on one, we decided there was no other way to go. It then became a matter of looking for the best value.

As a furniture design major in college, a fellow student and friend of mine was building a platform bed and purchased a much more expensive memory foam mattress. In fact, it was over 5 times the price of the one we purchased from bedinabox. Although his was made of a denser, thicker material, I still feel ours gave us the support we unknowingly needed. Since then, that same friend, who is now in the remodelling business, has purchased 2 mattresses from bedinabox.

Now, after a career change, I am a nurse who works night shifts, so it is so important for me to have the right conditions for sleeping during the day. For me that includes minimum amount of light and sound and a bed that I don't have to toss and turn on in order to get comfortable. Having slept on a waterbed for nearly 30 years, I was reluctant to change. But for the past couple of years, I hadn't been sleeping well. I also appreciated the great service I received which included a follow-up email inquiring about my purchase.

I've had the bed for a month and wouldn't dream of sending it back. The only downside is that I don't want to get out of bed because it's so incredibly comfortable-neither does my dog.

I have had back problems since a football injury in 1973. I have used inversion systems to help compression but a few years ago I had to have back surgery. I am not new to foam mattresses. In the early 80s I looked at them while in Colorado but they were way too expensive for my budget. A few years later I met a man in South Carolina who made a foam mattress for me for about $600. That mattress was comfortable but suddenly (over a few months) failed last year. After 17 years of service it decided it would not rebound and decided to stay depressed.

My wife and I could not stand the thought of a conventional mattress and began our quest by visiting every mattress store that offered "memory foam". We quickly ruled out Temper-Pedic because it traps body heat, not a good thing in Arizona. We then looked at Latex and it was pretty good and with differing layers you could adjust the firmness of the bed. With latex being so expensive we also looked at other foam mattresses that allowed for adjustment based on density but they tended to not support as well. We liked the idea that the natural latex did not get as hot as memory foam but the price difference was huge.

About that time I came across www.bedinabox.com. The description of the open cell memory foam intrigued me and their prices astounded me. At their prices I could buy 4 or 5 mattresses for the price I was quoted here in Phoenix. I purchased an original PacBed Plus because of my weight at the time and also because I already owned a feather topper for the mattress.
