Encryption
BedinaBox.com uses 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology, ensuring your transactions are secure. SSL converts your information into a secret code and lets your browser know that our website is authentic.
After information is exchanged with our website, you will see a lock at the bottom of your browser and “https:” in the address bar, which signifies that SSL is at work. Be sure that the lock is “closed” and appears in the browser frame instead of within the website page.
Masking
Masking is the term used to denote replacing letters and numbers of personal information displayed on the screen with an asterisk (*). When we display your personal information online, we use an asterisk or multiple asterisks to hide information such as Social Security and bank account numbers.
User IDs and Passwords
Once you have completed an online purchase with BBL, you must enter a User ID and Password to access your transaction information online. Your pass codes are unique to you. We may also ask you to answer questions that we store as “shared secrets.” If you forget your User ID and Password, we will ask you to answer these questions so we can verify that you are you.
Firewalls
The servers that run BedinaBox.com are protected by firewalls — systems that prevent unauthorized access to our networks. We also use specially designed software to continuously monitor our systems and keep hackers out.
