What is the BedInABox.com Return Policy?
BedInABox has the easiest and fairest mattress Return Policy in the entire industry. It is simple and direct and demonstrates our confidence in our product. Purchasing on the Internet can be risky, especially when dealing with companies which have a limited track record. Beware of companies offering a Free Return Policy. These companies generally operate out of rented warehouse space and have been in business less than one year.

BedInABox has virtually eliminated any risk to you.

We offer a 120 Day In-Home Trial Period. During this period, we offer a Double Guarantee.

  1. The 1st part of our Guarantee states that at any time from the date you receive your mattress through the 120th day following that date, you may choose to return the mattress if it is not to your satisfaction and receive a 100% refund. You pay all costs associated with returning the mattress back to us. There is no re-stocking fee or other hidden charges. We expect the mattress to be returned in reasonably clean condition (we donate the mattress to needy folks so do your best to return it clean). We won’t ever use “small print” about “original packaging” or “original condition” or “clean” to steal your money like many other mattress companies do.
  2. The 2nd part of our Guarantee states that if after trying our mattress for up to 120 days, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may simply call us for a DAN (Donation Authorization Number) at 1-800-588-5720. You may donate your mattress to a Non-Profit 501 C-3 organization such as Goodwill, the Salvation Army, Hospice, Church, Shelter for Homeless, etc. Fax or send us the receipt (made out to BedinaBox with your DAN) and we will provide a full refund back to your credit card or PayPal account minus $200. Note: All Bamboo Covers and foundations must be returned along with the donation receipt before we will process the credit back onto your credit card.

    Please note: Refunds or exchanges are not permitted for size, cover upgrades or incorrectly ordered mattresses.

This is the best and fairest Return Policy in the entire mattress industry!

NOTE: BedInABox.com has never and will never re-sell a mattress which has been returned to us. All of our returns are donated to charity.

What items may be returned?
Any mattress or foundation may be returned within 120 days of receipt for a refund according to the terms of our Guarantee. If part #1 is chosen, it is the customers’ responsibility to pay for all shipping and handling charges to return the item or items back to BBL. A return authorization number is required for all returns. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-588-5720 to obtain a RMA number. If part #2 is chosen, simply contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-588-5720 to obtain a Donation Authorization Number.

Do you charge a restocking fee?
If a product is returned for any reason there will be no restocking fee.

What happens if a product is damaged during shipping?
If a product arrives to you damaged, we recommend that you inspect the product carefully as some boxes may be slightly damaged during shipping. We package our mattresses in waterproof bags and it is extremely unlikely that your mattress was damaged during shipping. Give our Customer Service Department a call at 1-800-588-5720 and inform us what has happened. We will contact Fed-Ex or UPS and take care of the damaged product(s). After the product is confirmed to have been damaged, we will immediately start processing another order and get it to you as quickly as possible.

How do I repackage the product to return it?
If you choose part #1 of our Double Guarantee, you will need to get a mattress box to return the mattress. Call us at 1-800-588-5720 and we will help you find a carrier who can pick up the box to return it to us as inexpensively as possible.

What if I change my mind and want to cancel my order?
We generally process orders within 24 hours of when they are placed.  If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us by phone at 1-800-588-5720 or by e-mail at info@bedinabox.com  within this 24 hour period to have the best chance at catching your order before we ship it. Please be sure you are ordering exactly what you want. If you change your mind and want to cancel your order after it has already been shipped, you can refuse the delivery but you will be responsible for all shipping charges.

What if I want to return a Mattress?
If for any reason our mattress should fall short of your expectations before the end of 120 days, contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-588-5720.

How do I return a product when it is ready for return shipping?
These simple steps must be followed when returning a mattress to avoid fees.

  1. Contact Customer Service (1-800-588-5720) to request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
  2. Write the RMA number on the Sales Invoice and tape it to the mattress.
  3. Place the mattress into a plastic mattress bag and secure it with packing tape.
  4. Place the mattress in a cardboard mattress box. These can be purchased at Uline or online.
  5. Securely tape all edges of the box.
  6. Write your return address and order number on the mattress box.
  7. Call our toll free number (1-800-588-5720) to arrange the pickup of the mattress.
These steps are provided to ensure that the mattress returns to our facility in an acceptable condition, and allows us to verify the sender. All of these steps must be taken to prevent the charge of a 50% fee of the original purchase price.

What if I refuse delivery of my shipment?
If you refuse an item that is delivered by UPS and there is nothing wrong with the package, it will be returned to us and those refused orders will be subject to round trip shipping charges before a refund is issued.
