Verisign
|
What is VeriSign and what separates it from other SSL providers such as GoDaddy? VeriSign offers the
strongest SSL encryption available. The world’s 40 largest banks and over 95% of Fortune 500 companies
choose VeriSign SSL Certificates. VeriSign secures more than one million Web servers worldwide, more
than any other Certificate Authority. Over 75% of Web sites using Extended Validation SSL choose VeriSign,
including the biggest names in e-commerce and banking.
What is the difference between VeriSign and other SSL services like GoDaddy? When applying for a SSL certificate
from VeriSign, an extensive background check is done on the business and its owners. Legal documentation is
required as part of the application process. This process generally takes two weeks. It ensures that the
company who wishes to use the VeriSign service is honest, legitimate, follows sound business practice and
demonstrates a technical and ethical commitment to protect the identity of its customers.
Other SSL services, such as GoDaddy for example, will allow you to use their service simply by paying them $29.99.
The signup process takes only a matter of minutes and no background check is done. Literally anyone can use
their services for whatever reason they wish. In contrast, VeriSign costs thousands of dollars to implement
and is the Internet’s most robust Certificate Authority that not only secures a server but verifies
the company hosting it. |

Owns their Building/Real Estate
|

Owning a building as opposed to renting space in one speaks volumes about the credibility of a company.
When there is a wave created in a market, companies will often spring up overnight in rented warehouse space to
catch the wave in order to compete with established companies. These opportunist companies often change their
name several times and sometimes even switch their market or industry, looking only to make a quick buck and
move on. Once this happens, warranties will no longer be valid unless backed by the manufacturer. Find out if
the company you are buying from owns or rents their space. Overnight start-ups are usually fly-by-night.
BedInABox.com owns its 150,000 square foot building on 14 acres which is used solely for its mattress business.
We state this to establish our creditability & reliability to our customers and to our market. We not only intend
to stay in the mattress business for years to come, we envision playing a major role in overhauling the entire
mattress industry as we continue to introduce breakthrough innovations. |

State-of-the-Art Memory Foam
|
Our memory foam is made in North Carolina, using the most advanced and safest chemicals, created by the most trusted
name in chemical technology, BASF. You have probably seen BASF ads on TV. They are the ones that say, “At BASF, we
don’t make the products you buy, we make the products you buy, better.” They really did make memory foam better and we sell it.
The company which makes our polyurethane foam, North Carolina Foam, Industries still makes the foam used by NASA for the
Space Shuttle program and has since 1983. No other company can make this claim including Tempur-Pedic.

Pours Foam in the US
|
All of the foam we sell is poured right here in the USA. Our BASF memory foam is made in North Carolina by one of
the pioneers of polyurethane foam technology, North Carolina Foam, Inc., using the most advanced and safest chemicals,
created by the most trusted name in chemical technology, BASF. The memory foam in our bargain mattress -The PacBed Basic,
is also made in the U.S. by Advanced Urethane Technologies.
As with most products, there are ways to make quality products that look good, last long and are safe. There are also
ways to make products look good (like the original) that do not last and are not safe. These are called
"cheap imitations" and the world is full of them.
Memory foam suffers from this more than most products today and most of the cheap imitations are coming out of China.
There are no regulations on these cheap imitations and many may be dangerous to your health because of certain chemicals
used to “cut corners” to save money. (A toxic chemical smell will often be present with non-U.S. made foam.) Chemicals known
to cause cancer and which are banned from use in U.S. products are showing up in non-U.S. made memory foam. Be careful.
If you find inexpensive memory foam mattresses or toppers on the shelf at "superstores" or on websites, check to find
out where the foam is made. It is strongly suggested that you avoid subjecting your kids or loved ones to
hazardous materials which may be present in cheap, non-U.S. made foam. |

Full Manufacturer's Warranty
|
|
Our mattresses are backed by a Full Manufacturer’s Warranty. This is very important because it means that our manufacturer,
North Carolina Foam Industries (NCFI) is responsible for replacing any defective product. NCFI has been in business for
44 years and has an outstanding reputation of quality and service. Beware of mattress companies that do not have a
manufacturer’s warranty. If they go under, so does your warranty. To Read our Mattress Warranty, CLICK HERE. |

Has Lab Results to back up their Claims
|
|
There are endless claims made by memory foam mattress manufacturers and sellers about how good their mattresses are,
how advanced their memory foam is and long it will last. You get claims like “lab tests show…” or “according to independent laboratories…”
our question is, WHAT Labs? Where are the test results? Don’t these companies think you are smart enough to understand lab tests? Do they
even have them? Or are their claims just a bunch of hype?... To read more click HERE. |

Manufacturer's Time in Business Matches Length of Warranty
|
|
Many of the companies which compete for business on the Internet offer warranties far exceeding the length of time they have been
in business. They have come rushing in to the market to catch the wave of popularity with no intention of staying in the business or
honoring any warranties. They pop up “Overnight” and are gone at the first sign of trouble or when the next new wave catches their fancy. |
